Lowden Trig

What is this track rated? (ratings guide)
Medium
Here's a good track for beginners who want just a little bit of a challenge from some minor ruts (slippery if its wet) at the bottom of the climb, and a brief rocky section (small rocks, no rock steps) as you make your way up to the trig. If it's wet, you'll also run into some minor bog holes along the length of the Lowden Trig Firetrail part of the track.
Brace yourself if it's not summer because every time I've been to the top it's been blowing a gale up there, not pleasant.
I've seen this done by a Jimny on stock tyres and anything 4x4 rather than AWD will get it done.
Another slower but more scenic approach it to come into via Forbes Creek Road (just past Hoskintown) through Forbes Creek and then turning right onto Bald Hill Firetrail and continuing through to meet up with Lowden Trig Firetrail.
Enjoy.
